Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Transcribe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
2. Description of Service
Transcribe provides a web service that converts audio recordings into timestamped, speaker-aware transcripts. It does not generate summaries, analyses or legal records.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use Transcribe. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the audio and transcripts associated with your account. You grant us only the limited permission required to process, store and deliver them. Provider copies are deleted after processing subject to their technical safety window.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Transcribe for any unlawful purpose, to upload content that infringes on others' rights, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
6. Credits and Payments
Transcription requires prepaid minute packs sold as one-time purchases. The backend deducts at least one minute and rounds decoded audio duration up to the next minute. Failed downstream processing is refunded automatically when possible.
7. Limitation of Liability
Transcribe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Transcribe after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
